Nike's First Neuroscience Sneaker

The Nike Mind collection isn't a sole update or a seasonal drop. It's the result of over ten years of research from the Nike Mind Science Department applied to footwear: two models (the Mind 001 and the Mind 002) designed to change an athlete's mental state before and after competition. Erling Haaland and Saquon Barkley have been part of the testing program for years. Its global release was met with a huge response.

How Nike Mind Technology Works

The system is based on 22 independent foam nodes anatomically positioned in the sole. When walking, each node acts like a piston, stimulating the mechanoreceptors in the sole of the foot. This signal activates the brain's sensorimotor network, reduces distractions, and enhances focus and body awareness. It's not typical cushioning. It's sensory stimulation geared towards mental performance: a category Nike has just launched.
