The Air Jordan 4 Retro SE "Sashiko" (CW0898-400) are one of the most unique special editions of the AJ4. They were released in December 2020 with limited distribution outside of North America and take their name from sashiko, the Japanese traditional stitching technique used to reinforce and mend worn fabrics.
Hence their textile construction: canvas and denim with patchwork, visible topstitching and an asymmetrical design —each foot is different, laces included—. The Deep Ocean palette with Sail, Cement Grey, and touches of Fire Red respects the Jordan 4's DNA (side wings, mesh panels, visible Air unit) brought to the craft realm.
