Based on the Air Jordan 14 silhouette (created in 1998), it features a black upper with court purple accents and reptile-like texture —a nod to his team, the TCU Horned Frogs—. The number 6 recalls his heart surgeries, the laces name the hospitals that cared for him, and the tongue pays tribute to his friend "Lil' Rey."
