The Air Jordan 6 Retro "Cap and Gown" dresses the 1991 silhouette — MJ's first championship shoe — in graduation attire with an all-black colorway. It features a black nubuck base throughout the upper and glossy black satin panels on the toe, lacing area, sides, and tongue; each window is outlined with reflective piping that is repeated on the jagged midsole. Reference IR2266-010.
It's the most formal and understated interpretation of the AJ6: the two-hole tongue, the heel tab, and the visible Air unit are still there, but without a drop of color. The "Cap and Gown" line was born with the Jordan 11 (2018) as a tribute to graduation; this version on the 6 landed in 2026.
