The Air Jordan 9 Retro "Doernbecher" (Pollito) is one of the most special and historically significant editions of the AJ9. It originated from the 2012 Doernbecher Freestyle program, where Nike gives a voice to young patients: this model was designed by Oswaldo Jiménez, who was just 11 years old at the time.
Every detail tells his story: a white base with metallic gold and black accents, braided gold laces, the number 17 on the heel (his favorite), a feather pattern, and his nickname "Pollito" (Little Chick) on the tongue. The red and green sole pays tribute to Querétaro, his city in Mexico. A collector's collaboration, hard to find.
