The Nike Air Max 90 "Doernbecher" (2023) is part of the Doernbecher Freestyle XVIII charity collection, designed by Emerson Harrell, a 15-year-old patient at the Portland Children's Hospital. Every detail tells his story: a white base with Valor Blue overlays, a crimson red lining, and dollar bill graphics on the Swoosh that allude to his dream of becoming an investor.
His initial reinterpreted as a dollar sign on the tongue and heel, "Bear Down" engraved on the mudguard, and the GPS coordinates of his home on the insole make this AM90 a collector's edition with a soul.
