The Nike Air Max Plus x HOMECOMING "African Sunrise" (IM4960-800, 2026) is Grace Ladoja's take on the classic TN, designed by the founder of the Lagosian festival and label Homecoming, and the first African woman to design her own sneaker for Nike.
The Safety Orange colorway with tangerine and black evokes an African sunrise. Instead of the usual mesh, it features a dense fabric inspired by Nigerian household bath sponges, and the toe box is dipped in color as a reference to West African indigo dyeing. Below, the characteristic Air Max Plus ribs and visible Air unit remain intact.
