The Nike SB Dunk Low "Bronx Girls Skate" is a collaboration between Nike SB and Bronx Girls Skate, the collective founded in 2020 by Mel Ramirez and Kava Vasquez to empower the female skate community in the Bronx (River Avenue Skate Park, New York). Their first Dunk together pays homage to New York City subway culture.
Featuring a black and white base, the SB Dunk Low is elevated with textured stingray-like grain leather and a white Swoosh, with green, orange, and red details on the edges of the overlays. It includes three sets of interchangeable laces inspired by the city's subway lines, plus the Zoom Air cushioning characteristic of the SB line for skateboarding and everyday wear.
